October is the Month for Museums

Don't forget that during the month of October kids receive free admission to 14 museums in Balboa Park!  (Limit 2 children per paying adult.)

 Participating museums include the Children's Discovery Museum, San Diego Air and Space Museum, USS Midway, Gaslamp Museum, and the William Davis House.  Follow this link to see the complete list:

With the money you save on admissions, you can take the Old Town Trolley Tour to your desired destinations. 




It's a hop on hop off narrated tour. Start in Old Town and take the following stops:
A- Old Town Start
B- USS Midway
F- William Davis House
J- Balboa Park

The tour starts in Old Town at 9 a.m., and the the last pick up is at 4:25 p.m.  After the tour, have an early dinner at Cafe Coyote in Old Town while listening to a mariachi band.  You might just catch a balloon artist for the kids :)
